Novelis' plant in Louisville, Kentucky is dedicated to producing foil used in converted packaging applications, and is well recognized for its customer focus and short lead times. Our large Indiana foil mill offers the same as well as the ability to produce heavier gauges in wider widths.

Aluminum foil supplied by Novelis is typically "converted" by our customers to a multi-layer sheet after passing through a laminator or extruder where it is sandwiched with another supporting material such as film or paper. The main applications for converter foil are flexible packaging and industrial applications.
